Minimum Requirements

 
1: A good understanding of Windows operating systems, virtualization and networking is required in order to install/configure our/3CX’s software. As well as a dedicated Internet connection. Please set aside a good amount of time (2 to 5 days) when installing/configuring this software in order to read though the FAQ’s/user guide, so you can fully test this software and get a good understanding of how it works.
2: Stand alone Windows XP Pro SP2, Windows 2003 server R2, Windows 7 Pro/Ultimate, Windows 2008 server R2.
3: The 3CX IP PBX (download here) is required when using our Predictive Dialer/Agent Interface solution in a Call Center. After installing the 3CX IP PBX on a separate computer or operating system (virtual) from our Predictive Dialer, please email support@mdlsolutions.com for a free trial Call Center license key.
4: MDLsolutions Dialer - Predictive Dialer must not run on the same computer as 3CX, unless you are using a Virtual Machine/Virtual Software like Virtual Box that we have already tested (http://www.virtualbox.org/)
5: A clean Windows operating system is required for all these software solutions, all Windows operating systems need to be updated with all the current service packs/updates before you start installing these software solutions.
6: Old computers and Celeron type processors are not recommended.
7: GotoMyPC is not compatible with the Dialer/Predictive Dialer.
8: 2008 Server: Please disable password complexity, and manually confirm driver installation.
9: Set the date, time or number format. Commonly found under ‘Control Panel’. Set format to ‘English (United States)’.
10: Predictive Dialing/Call Center: Additional Windows based computer/s is/are required for each agent, for the Agent Interface and 3CX Softphone.
11: When running the Agent Interface for the first time on Windows 7, make sure you run it as Administrator, and make sure the Windows 7 user account has enough permissions in order for the Agent Interface to read/write to it’s own config file. If these steps are not followed you will receive an error.
12: Free trial support is limited and is only provided by email.
13: A SIP Aware firewall is recommended when making calls over the Internet without dialing through an IP PBX or using a SIP Proxy. Intertex SurfinBird IX67 has been tested and is recommended (http://www.intertex.se/products/detail.asp?iProductID=59).
